Children with dyslexia often also have difficulty understanding individual sounds in words, difficulty remembering words, good understanding of oral language but spoken language difficulties, often reverse number or letter sequences or even writing the backwards, difficulty reading different styles of type, leaving out words while reading aloud, and inconsistencies between potential and performance.
